Zero temperature linear response conductance of molecules with Coulomb interaction and with various types of phonon modes is analyzed together with local occupation, local moment, and charge fluctuations. Particular emphasis is on deformation fluctuations, which are quantitatively related to charge fluctuations. Charge fluctuations are shown to exhibit similarity to static charge susceptibility. © 2005 The American Physical Society URL:
