The angular dependence of exchange bias with the applied field parallel to the film plane has been well established. Here we report on the characteristics of exchange bias with the field rotated out of the film plane at angle θ from the film plane. The hysteresis loop shifts from the origin not only along the field axis but also along the magnetization axis. Both HE and HC increase with a 1∕cos θ, which can be accounted by considering the angular dependence of anisotropy introduced during the field cooling.
