Phys. Rev. B 66, 140403(R) (2002) [4 pages]Chiral domain walls in frustrated magnetoelastic materials
We analyze domain walls on a two-dimensional triangular lattice with magnetoelastic coupling and find three phases: high symmetry (H) triangular, low symmetry rectangular, and spiral. The H-phase domains correspond to spin configurations of different chirality with local lattice rotation. We discuss the consequences of the interplay between chirality and magnetoelastic frustration, specifically how the latter is relieved. © 2002 The American Physical Society URL:
