Phys. Rev. B 64, 012401 (2001) [4 pages]Localization and coercivity of random granular nanomagnetsReceived 27 February 2001; published 30 May 2001 We study the spin configurations of the random granular nanomagnets in the strong to intermediate pinning limit by Monte Carlo simulations. The difference in spin configurations at zero and finite field is localized. A delocalization transition takes place at a critical field. We develop an analytic method to understand the localization pattern of the difference in spin configurations. We also analytically calculate the finite temperature coercive field and find good agreement with our Monte Carlo results. © 2001 The American Physical Society URL:
