Phys. Rev. B 54, 6583–6586 (1996)Evidence of surface superconductivity in 2H-NbSe2 single crystalsReceived 26 February 1996; published in the issue dated 1 September 1996 We have probed the differential resistance in 2H-NbSe2 single crystals at very low currents. For fields applied perpendicular to the sample and in the range Bc2<B<(1.6-1.7)Bc2, the differential resistance is Ohmic but well below the usual normal-state differential resistance observed at high currents. This deviation from the normal-state differential resistance is ascribed to surface superconductivity on the lateral surfaces. © 1996 The American Physical Society URL:
