We have probed the differential resistance in 2H-NbSe2 single crystals at very low currents. For fields applied perpendicular to the sample and in the range Bc2<B<(1.6-1.7)Bc2, the differential resistance is Ohmic but well below the usual normal-state differential resistance observed at high currents. This deviation from the normal-state differential resistance is ascribed to surface superconductivity on the lateral surfaces.
