Complete static magnetic susceptibility χ measurements, performed at ambient pressure on single crystals of the quasi-one-dimensional conductors TTF[M(dmit)2]2, where M is Ni or Pd, are reported. The spin susceptibility χs of these charge-transfer salts is correlated to successive condensations of charge-density-wave instabilities and to the partial densities of states of the multiple parallel bands arising from the stacks. Both compounds may be characterized by small on-site repulsions U (with U<W, where W is the bandwidth).
