The consequences of assuming p-adic analyticity for thermodynamic functions are discussed. Rules are given for determining the denominator of a rational critical exponent from the asymptotic behavior of the coefficients of series expansions. The example of the Hamiltonian Q-state Potts model is used to demonstrate the ideas of the paper.
